Thanks to the generosity of local donor - who wishes to remain anonymous - the Washtenaw Land Trust has a new nature preserve near the Huron River in Webster Township.

The Woodland Nature Preserve, a 13.5-acre site on West Joy Road, between Jennings and North Delhi roads, is a rolling oak-hickory forest and a significant addition to a growing corridor of WLT-protected lands in this part of Washtenaw County.
